Colt Colson + Andrea Martineau E-Session

I recently had the opportunity to meet and work with Colt Colson & Andrea Martineau. They live in the Missoula area and I was thrilled when they suggested we meet in St. Ignatius to shoot their engagement photos. My assistant and I drove down a few hours before the shoot to do some scouting. The Mountains there are breathtaking there, however our biggest challenge was the weather. It had been raining and snowing for days before the shoot and I was concerned that the scenery may not be as spectacular as it could be. {we got very lucky} After Knocking on a few doors and exploring the area we decided on three locations and targeted the last two hours of daylight to work with.
I really appreciated Colt and Andrea’s attitude and willingness to participate. We really had to move quickly, it was approximately 30 miles between locations and it was cold. They were magic together and more than willing to try anything we suggested. The area is rich in history of the old west and in retrospect I truly believe they made the perfect choice for their shoot. Colt and Andrea will be married on New Years Eve in Missoula… can’t wait!

Wedding Show Countdown

It is crazy time at the office. It seems to never fail on how much planning or organizing we seem to do, the last couple of days before the show are nuts. Website, brochures, prints, fabrics for tables, lighting for products, books, power for the booth, the right paint colors and hardware and that all important question, who am I and how do I convey it to you? i.e. Vision, right Mr. Dane Sanders? Whew, don’t get me wrong, there does come a point and time where it is all worth it, usually after a few bookings and a glass of nice Sirah.

Greatly looking forward to the show, hosted by the Flathead Valley Wedding and Event Professionals at the Flathead County fairgrounds. This Saturday, February 19, 2011. Please come visit.

Kepler and Erin met while working together at the Missoula Children’s Theatre. They are exactly what it takes to teach kids the beauty of expressing themselves. They were darling, dynamic, animated, and full of love and expression. We had a fantastic time and Erin’s giggle and charm kept a smile on my face all day. These two are truly captured by one another as you can see by the photos of them together. I loved every moment of my day with these two from Erin getting ready with her two sisters to the enchanting ceremony on stage to the fun filled and theatre like dancing at the party after. Kepler and Erin thank you so much for sharing your day and my blessings to you both for all the years to come.

Saturday I had the pleasure of sharing in a very special day with Sam & Ashley. In between days of rain here in Montana the day blessed us with the most beautiful sunshine and warmth for the entire day followed by an almost full moon. Sam and Ashley were radiant as you can clearly see in their photos and truly charming and beautiful inside and out. The love and support was evident throughout the entire day not only between the two of them but also from their amazing families and life long friends. It was truly a pleasure getting to share with them and I feel very blessed to share these sneak peak photos with all of you. My job if you can call it that is glorious and so very fun!
